The letter arrived late last week. Official Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) notice that TaxCycle T1 is certified for EFILE.
Around here, that kind of news is met with similar excitement as a three year-old seeing her filled stocking on Christmas morning.
It's especially exciting because it means you have certified T1 software well in advance of CRA's EFILE system re-opening on February 10th.
Download your CRA EFILE-certified TaxCycle T1 software today
Install the latest TaxCycle release to get it now! Even though the EFILE system isn't open for a few weeks, there's lots you can do in the meantime to get ready.
If you're new to TaxCycle, request a free, full-functional trial.
Try transmitting SEND requests
Although the EFILE system is closed, you can still submit SEND requests. It's a great time to get these done before preparing your client returns.
Now that the Client Manager is ready to go, it's even faster and easier with batch transmit of SEND requests. Read the help topic to learn how.
T1013 system is open but TaxCycle is awaiting certification
Electronic filing of Form T1013 is still available from the CRA's perspective. However, we're awaiting certification of our T1013 transmission and barcode. (And the T1 Condensed barcode too.)
As soon as we get the go-ahead, we'll update TaxCycle for you.
