We have received notice from the CRA that the message 150 relating to EFILE not being operational at this time has been resolved.
Update from 2018-02-28 — Message 194
We have received notice from the CRA that the message 194 relating to field code 6186 (NL returns) has been resolved.
Other incidents were observed in the last couple of days and emergency fixes are been applied as they develop solutions.
Update from 2018-02-27
We have received word that the 194 error affecting NL returns has been fixed. However, we have received other reports of the same error code affecting MB and AB returns. The CRA is investigating.
If you are having this issue, you may be able to assist them in determining the cause by sending us the DCN (document control number) for returns that are failing. Please email email@example.com. We will then share that information with the CRA.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has advised us that certain tax preparers have received errors 150 or 194 upon attempting to transmit some returns today. They have provided the following information to us:
- Message 150 (EFILE) "EFILE is not operational at this time. Please visit the EFILE website to see the hours of service." This is a known issue to CRA and they are working to resolve it. They do not have an estimated time for fixing this issue.
- Message 194 (EFILE) "The Canada Revenue Agency is experiencing technical difficulties and is unable to process this return at this time." This message is appearing for users that have field code 6186 (NL returns). Field 6186 is the unused low-income tax reduction on the NL428. CRA is working to resolve it. They do not have an estimated time for fixing this issue.
