What technology do I need to attend the webinar?
- A computer, laptop or even mobile device. We do recommend you consider screen size when logging in. While you can view the webinar using the GoToWebinar app on your mobile, it will be hard to see what we are doing on screen on a smaller device.
- Speakers or headphones. You must have speakers or headphones to hear the presentation.
- An internet connection of 1 Mbps or better (broadband recommended).

Does the online conference cost anything?
No. There is no charge for attending the online conference.
I'm new to TaxCycle, should I register for both days?
Yes! We encourage you to sign up for both days of training. We do recommend you attend the first day and/or download a trial so that you can get used to TaxCycle before Day 2.
I've been to your seminar tour, should I register for both days?
Day 1 will be a great refresher on using TaxCycle. If you feel like you need that, or you have new staff, you are welcome to join us. If you just want to hear about new features or in-depth topics, skip Day 1 and register for Day 2.
Does this mean you won't be running the in-person seminars this year?
We've done our cross-Canada seminar tour for five years and love the experience and the feedback we get from attendees. This year, we wanted to try something different and invite you into our "home" in the form of an online conference. This also lets us address two requests we've had over the years: to provide an online version for those who can't travel to the in-person training, and to split the content up into segments for new users and for returning users. Rest assured, we will be back in your city in the future.
How is this different from your regular webinars?
Our online conference is longer and covers several topics, more like we have done in our in-person seminar tour. We'll be opening our fall webinar registrations after the online conference. So, if you need more help on a topic from the conference, just register for one of those webinars.
Will you be taking questions?
Yes. You can type a question at any time in the chat window. We will regularly choose from those questions to answer live. If we don't get to your question, we will email you after with the response.
How do I earn verifiable professional development credits?
For each day you attend the webinar, we will send you an automatic email with non-verifiable credits. If you want a certificate with verifiable credits, you must answer at least 70% of the polls that we will ask throughout the session.
Are you recording this? Can I watch later if I can't be there?
We are recording the event. We'll send out a video link after the event to all registered attendees. However, we encourage you to attend on the day for the most benefit, as we cannot offer professional development credits for viewing the video later.
We usually attend the seminar tour as a group, how can we do that and still get professional development credits?
Easy! Set up a viewing party in your boardroom, then each person logs into their laptop computer to register their attendance and answer the polling questions. Don't forget to mute the audio on your laptops or tablets! To avoid internet connectivity issues, we advise against using the mobile app.
