How to Sign in to TaxFolder

If you need to activate your account…

  1. Open the email with the subject You’re invited to TaxFolder.
  2. Click the Activate your account button.

  3. Enter and confirm your password.
  4. Click the Save New Password button.

  5. This will automatically direct you to your client portal after signing you in.

If you already have an account…

  1. Go to www.taxfolder.com.
  2. Click the Sign In link at the top right of the page.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Click the Sign In Now button.

  5. This automatically redirects you to your portal after signing in.

Did you forget to activate your account or forget your password?

  1. Click the Forgot your password? link on the sign in page.

  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Click the Reset Password button.

  4. If you have an account associated with that email address, you will receive a message with instructions on resetting your password. (If you do not receive an email, contact your tax preparer.) Click the Reset password button in the email.

  5. Enter and confirm your password.
  6. Click the Save New Password button.

  7. If you are not automatically redirected to the TaxFolder portal after changing your password, go to www.taxfolder.com and click the Sign In link at the top right of the page.
