What is PartnerStack?
To make referring easy, TaxCycle partnered with PartnerStack, a global leader in referral and partnership programs. This gives you the tools and resources you need to promote our product and rewards you for it!
Who is eligible to participate in the referral program?
Current TaxCycle customers and users, accounting professionals, educators, industry groups and accounting software providers.
Which types of referrals are eligible for a reward?
You are eligible for a reward if the referred individual is a new customer to TaxCycle and makes a purchase.
How and when do I get paid?
Once your referral is verified, your commission will appear in your PartnerStack dashboard. Funds typically become available for withdrawal the following month after the sale. For example, any commissions earned in January will be available mid-February. You can choose to withdraw your funds via Direct Deposit, PayPal, or Stripe.
Will I receive exactly $250 CAD?
We aim to get as close to $250 CAD as possible. However, because PartnerStack and its payment processors operate internationally, the final amount may vary slightly due to daily exchange rates or standard processing fees from the payment provider or your bank.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No, there’s no limit! The more successful referrals you make, the more you earn.
How can I track my referrals?
You can track all your referrals and rewards through your PartnerStack dashboard.
Why am I being asked for tax information?
As a U.S.-based entity, PartnerStack is required by the IRS to collect tax forms (such as a W-8 or W-9) from those who withdraw commissions via Direct Deposit.
- For Canadians: Filling out a W-8 form simply confirms your residency status—it does not mean you are required to file or pay U.S. taxes.
- Alternative: If you choose to withdraw via PayPal or Stripe, you will not be prompted for tax forms within PartnerStack (though those platforms typically have their own similar verification requirements).
