CRA: EFILE Error 90308 (Updated)

We are aware of an issue where some T1 transmissions are resulting in EFILE error 90308. 

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is aware of this issue and has advised that this error occurs on T1 returns with an amount on line 22200 and no amount on line 31000, where the taxpayer has over $68,500 in pensionable earnings.

The CRA is actively working on fix and has indicated a tentative date of March 24, 2025, for the resolution of this issue.
