Know Issue: Pension Splitting Paragraph in the Client Letter

We've discovered an issue with the Pension income splitting paragraph in the English Client Letter (CLetter) in TaxCycle T1.

The condition that triggers the first sentence for the pensioner (the person transferring their income to the transferee) is broken and the first sentence does not appear in the letter when it should. The resulting paragraph starts with "In doing so..."

This only affects the English letter and does not affect the Joint Client Letter.

Workaround

If you cloned your letter earlier this season, you can fix the issue in your customized letter by replacing the {{# }} field code at the start of the paragraph with {{# PensionIncome.PensionerOrTransferee = 1}}.
