RESOLVED: TaxFolder Email Delivery Delays to Hotmail, Outlook and Live.ca

We are aware of an issue where some emails sent from TaxFolder to Hotmail, Outlook and live.ca recipients are currently experiencing delivery delays.

TaxFolder shows the approval and signature requests as "Deferred" on the engagement page. This is due to temporary external processing limits currently being applied by these email providers.

Note: Only email notifications sent to the affected email domains (Hotmail, Outlook, and live.ca) as of 12 p.m. MT on February 23, 2026, are impacted. Notifications sent back to TaxFolder and to the TaxCycle file for completed signatures are working normally. If your client signs or approves the document, you will still receive an email notification.

This issue has been resolved as of Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
