TaxFolder Update (March 31, 2026)

On March 31, 2026, we deployed an update to TaxFolder that included the following customer-requested improvements and fixes.

• TaxFolder now sends a preparer notification if an email sent to a client fails to deliver.
• When opening a client record, TaxFolder now automatically prioritizes Pending and In Progress engagements from the most recent tax year in the engagement drop-down list.
  
• Updated the interface and wording to clarify that removing a client deactivates the account instead of deleting it. You can reactivate client accounts at any time by clicking the “Reactivate Client” button. Reminder: Clients deactivated in the current calendar year are still counted as part of the 2025 TaxFolder license.
• Adjusted TaxFolder’s system to retain selected filters and sort settings for 12 hours (up from two) to better support all-day workflows.
• Added some missing French translations to the dashboard.
