CRA Service Interruption

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is planning a service interruption on Saturday, December 6, 2025. This planned outage will affect a number of CRA's critical business applications and services, including those used by tax preparers.

Planned Outage Window

• Start: 3:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET), Saturday, December 6, 2025
• End: 9:00 a.m. ET, Saturday, December 6, 2025
• Note: In case of postponement, work will be rescheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 3:00 a.m. to 9:00 am (ET).

During this time, the following services will be unavailable:

• EFILE for Individuals (T1)
• Corporation Internet Filing (T2)
• EFILE for Trusts (T3)
• Auto-fill my return (AFR)
• Client Data Enquiry
• Foreign reporting web services (e.g., T1134, T1135)
• Notice of assessment via Tax Software
• AgriStability/AgriInvest Corporation Forms submission service
• ReFILE service
• CRA email notifications
• T1 and T2 Special Elections and Returns web services
• EFILE online services: Register for EFILE, yearly renewal, and account maintenance.
