Manage your TaxFolder client list by deleting clients who won’t be returning in the new tax year. This simple task can help you free up space for new clients.
Your TaxFolder license is tied to your active client count. If your firm exceeds its licensed client limit, TaxFolder will prompt you to add a new license, and will continue to show this message as long as you are over the client limit. To prevent this, we recommend deleting non-returning clients before the end of the calendar year.
Any clients deleted after December 31, 2025, will still count toward the licensed client limit. However, any clients you delete before January 1, 2026, will be excluded, freeing up space for new clients for the 2025 tax season.
