Updated April 29: EI Overpayments No Longer Denied

As previously reported, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) was investigating an issue where EI overpayments were being denied systematically upon assessment. The CRA has now informed us that they resolved this issue. They will be identifying and correcting any returns previously impacted by this system error. Although they cannot say how long before anyone receives a reassessment, there's still no need to contact them about affected returns.
