Known Issue: E-signature Fields in Templates Sent as Approval Requests

In TaxCycle 16.0.64783.0, e-signature fields in templates are sent to TaxFolder as approval requests rather than e-signature requests.

This affects any template with e-signature fields, such as engagement letters (ELetter). The client will receive an approval request notification instead of an e-signature request.

Workaround

If you need to send an e-signature request from TaxCycle, you can print to PDF and then manually upload and add the signature fields in TaxFolder.

Anticipated Resolution

We will resolve this issue in the next TaxCycle release.
