RESOLVED: T2 CO-17 "Index is out of range" Carryforward Error

TaxCycle T2 version 14.2.56699.0 produces an "index is out of range" when attempting to carry forward a CO-17 return.

Workaround

1. Make a copy of the file that is triggering the error.
2. Open the file in TaxCycle.
3. If the file is locked, go to the Security menu and click Unlock File.
   
4. In the Transmit sidebar, click on the T2 CIF box to expand it.
5. Click Dismiss start again.
6. Read the message in the dialog box and click Dismiss.
   
7. TaxCycle will display a file conversion message at the top of the form. Click Convert to change the T2 file to the .2025T2 file type.
   
8. Save the file.
9. Use this new .2025T2 file to carry forward the return.
10. After successfully carrying forward the return, delete the original file that was generating the error.

Resolution

We resolved this issue in the latest TaxCycle release.
