RESOLVED: DoxCycle Import and Scan

We are aware of an issue where DoxCycle version 14.1.60210.0 returns an error when attempting to import or scan documents if the Custom Classifier was previously enabled in Options.

Workarounds

To preserve your existing options, you can manually remove the files causing the issue from your Options profile. Alternatively, you can reset your local profile to default settings.

To manually remove files:

  1. To open Options from the Start screen, click Options in the green bar on the left side. If you have a file open, go to the File menu, then click Options.
  2. Click on Manage to expand the Options Profile section.
  3. Note the name of your Options profile, for example "Office Options".
  4. Click View files, then close DoxCycle.
  5. Locate the .zip file matching your profile name and create a backup copy.
  6. Open the original .zip file and delete the following files:
    • T12012.Preferences.CustomTemplatePreferences.xml
    • T22012.Preferences.CustomTemplatePreferences.xml
    • T32012.Preferences.CustomTemplatePreferences.xml
    • T42012.Preferences.CustomTemplatePreferences.xml
    • T52012.Preferences.CustomTemplatePreferences.xml
