RESOLVED: TaxCycle 13.1.53134.0 Clearing Payment Status

We’ve learned that TaxCycle version 13.1.53134.0 is clearing the “Payment received” workflow task for files with module years prior to 2024. This issue affects TaxCycle files that are saved in version 13.1.53134.0. 

Workaround

If you have updated TaxCycle to version 13.1.53134.0, revert to a previous version of TaxCycle before opening and saving any returns.

TaxCycle will retain the original payment status of the return, which you can view in the Client Manager if you open but do not save the file in version 13.1.53134.0. 

Resolution

We resolved this issue in the latest TaxCycle release.
