It's Time to Retire Windows® 8

After January 10, 2023, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows® 8.1. TaxCycle and DoxCycle will also no longer support Windows 8. We recommend you upgrade now to get ready.

Three Great Reasons to Upgrade

1. Once support ends, you will no longer receive security updates, non-security updates, bug fixes, technical support, or online technical content updates. Without security updates, your client data may be at risk.
2. Windows 8 is nearly ten years old. You're likely not using a ten-year-old PC, so why still use a ten-year-old operating system?
3. TaxCycle is built to run on new technology. It will perform better on Windows 10 or Windows 11.
