Revenu Québec extends the filing deadline for RL slips and summaries

Revenu Québec experienced a temporary outage on Thursday, February 29, 2024. To allow businesses more time to meet their obligations, they have extended the deadline for filing certain RL slips and summaries and certain other forms to March 1, 2024.

This applies to filing the following items:

• summary of source deductions;
• RL slips;
• QST and GST/HST;
• tax on insurance premiums;
• specific tax on alcoholic beverages;
• specific duty on new tires;
• remunerated passenger transportation.

As far as payments are concerned, there will be no consequences for those who were unable to make them on February 29, 2024, and who will make them on March 1, 2024.
