TaxCycle install blocked by Windows® Defender

We have received reports of Windows® Defender blocking the installation of the latest TaxCycle release, version 9.0.37638.0. When you start installing TaxCycle, a message appears: "Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk."

This warning occurs because we updated the signing certificate in TaxCycle in this version, and it can take time for Windows® Defender to acknowledge this change.

While we generally do not recommend you to bypass messages from your security software, if you are certain that this message appeared when installing TaxCycle, you can click the link for More Info and direct Windows® Defender to continue with the installation.
