TaxFolder Update (March 28, 2023)

On March 28, 2023, we deployed an update to TaxFolder to mitigate the impact of the recent outages affecting both tax preparers and end users.

This update is a further step toward addressing the outages and includes the following fixes and improvements:

• Additional error handling for adding and modifying team members.
• Additional handling to prevent client email addresses from being duplicated in the client list of a single firm.
• Performance updates to improve the speed of page loading in the Client Dashboard.
• General improvements for data handling, including a fix for indices and orphaned entities on deleted signature requests.
• Improved SMS error handling where additional Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA) is selected.
• Reduced the length of time a Client File link is accessible before it expires.
• Split client name into separate columns to allow for sorting by First and Last name.
