RESOLVED: TaxFolder Connect a Client or Team Member Error

We learned that when team members and clients are invited to use TaxFolder, they are receiving a message that says “Invalid ID—Already Connected” after clicking the link in the email invitation to connect to TaxFolder. This occurs if they are already signed into a TaxCycle account in the browser.

Workaround

  1. Close the browser to ensure that all existing sign-in sessions are terminated.
  2. Then, click on the link to open a new browser session.
    This will allow you to create a new TaxCycle account or sign in with an existing account and connect to TaxFolder as expected. 

Resolution

We resolved this issue in the latest TaxFolder update.
