RESOLVED: Transmission problems affecting CO-17 returns

July 2, 2021: Revenu Québec has provided us with the following update.

The technical problem that was encountered with the transmission of corporate tax returns by preparers has been resolved.

Please note that even if you did not receive an acknowledgement of receipt of transmission of a corporate tax return, we may have received it. We ask that you verify in any of the following ways:

  • View the business's tax file, which is available in My Account for Businesses or My Account for Professional Representatives;
  • Retransmit the return using software (we will let you know later if we have already received this return for the same tax period);
  • Contact our customer service at 1-800-567-4692.

June 30, 2021: Revenu Québec asked that we share the following message with you:

Revenu Québec is currently having technical problems with the online filing of corporate income tax returns by preparers. We are working to quickly solve the problem. Please note that corporations whose fiscal period ended on December 31, 2020, and whose filing deadline is June 30, 2021, will not be charged a late-filing penalty if they file their return by July 8. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Note that even if you do not receive a confirmation or error message when transmitting a return, it is still possible we received the return. If you attempt to file the return a second time and it fails, it is because the first attempt was successful. We apologize for the inconvenience this technical may cause and thank you for your understanding.
