Changes to the Slips Filing Process

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) updated the web application portal for submitting slips and summaries returns. Make sure to install the latest TaxCycle release as it incorporates the necessary updates to the filing process. For a detailed walkthrough, watch the above video.

Please note the following:

• Electronic slips filing only supports 2022 and subsequent years. Please use CRA Web Forms to file returns for earlier years.
• If you encounter an error when attempting to file, you may need to contact the CRA to register the filer account number. 
• You must wait to file T3 slips, NR4 slips (in the T3 module), and T5013-FIN returns and T5013 slip summaries. Read the status section in each set of release notes to see what modules are ready to file.
