EFILE is Open! Install the Latest TaxCycle Release to Start Filing

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) opened its EFILE systems this morning.

The latest release of TaxCycle is ready for transmitting T1 and TP1 returns to the CRA and Revenu Québec. Make sure you update to the latest version to begin filing. 

As of today, you can use TaxCycle T1/TP1 to access the following electronic services:

• T1 EFILE for 2023 initial personal income tax and benefit returns, and past years from 2017 through 2022.
• Auto-fill my return (AFR) for data from 2016 through 2023 (AFR for 2016 to 2022 only retrieves slip data).
• ReFILE for 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 amended T1 returns.
• Pre-authorized debit (PAD) requests for 2023 (PAD only supports paying a balance due on current year returns)
• T1135 EFILE for 2023 and past years from 2017 through 2022.
• T1134 EFILE for 2021, 2022 and 2023.
• Authorization requests (AuthRep) for 2023.
• Business authorization/cancellation requests (AuthRepBus) for 2023.
• TP1 NetFile for 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 TP1 returns.
• TP1 Adjustments and document upload for 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 TP1 returns.
• Tax Data Download (TDD) for data from 2020 through 2023.
• MR-69 Electronic Filing from 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 returns.

The following forms still show the Preview watermark:

• T2203, Provincial and Territorial Taxes for Multiple Jurisdictions and provincial 428MJ forms.
• TP-22, Income Tax Payable by an Individual Who Carries on a Business in Canada, Outside Québec
• TP-25, Income Tax Payable by an Individual Resident in Canada, Outside Québec, Who Carries on a Business in Québec

All other T1/TP1 forms are final.
