This release updates the TaxCycle Software License Agreement, adds template outlines to client and engagement letters, and resolves other issues.
To install this version immediately, download the full installer from our website. Auto-updates are now published at the same time as the full setup. TaxCycle will notify you of the new version right away and handle the installation timing according to the priority set in your TaxCycle Options. (To deploy auto-update files from your network, see the Auto-Update Files page.)
We have updated the TaxCycle Software License agreement in order to keep offering the high-quality support you count on from TaxCycle.
The update clarifies what “basic technical support” covers, and how we handle requests that go beyond it: things like data recovery, custom configuration, workflow consultation, or an unusually high volume of calls or emails. We’ll offer support for these as separate professional services, with fees agreed to and communicated in advance.
See our Technical Support Terms page for the full breakdown of standard vs. specialized support, and the TaxCycle Software License for full details.
Customer Request T2—Added template outlines to the 2026 client letter (CLetter) and engagement letter (ELetter).
Customer Reported Added default styling to all letterhead, address, closing and unstyled snippets across the latest template years. This resolves an issue where TaxCycle displayed cloned snippets in Times New Roman in the Template Editor preview instead of matching the letter’s font.
T3, T5013, T3010 and TaxCycle Forms—Added template outlines to the client letter (CLetter), engagement letter (ELetter) and the 2026 T3 pre-season letter (PreSeason).
T2, T3, T5013 and TaxCycle Forms—Removed UHT content from the 2026 engagement letter (ELetter) in T2, T3 and T5013, and the 2025 engagement letter (ELetter) in TaxCycle Forms.
T5013—Fixed an issue with carryforward from ProFile®.
DoxCycle—Fixed an issue where linking files between TaxCycle and DoxCycle did not work as expected.
