Void the TaxFolder Signature Request Email

If you need to void the signature request email to a client, you can do this from TaxCycle or TaxFolder. 

Void Request From TaxCycle

  1. Open the form in TaxCycle. In the blue bar at the top of the form, click the Void link.Screen Capture: Void the signature request in TaxCycle
  2. In the pop-up window, click OK to void the request.Screen Capture: Void signature request in TaxCycle 
  3. Click OK again.
  4. The bar at the top of the form in TaxCycle will now display the date and time the request was voided and the reason. Click View to open the voided document. If the document is printed, TaxCycle does not print the “Voided” note on the signature line.

Void Request From TaxFolder

  1. On the TaxFolder Dashboard, click on the client’s name to open their record.

  2. On the client’s record, select the engagement that contains the request you wish to void.
  3. In the Engagement Status section, click the arrow next to the View Original button and select Void Document from the dropdown list. This updates the request in TaxCycle and removes the note from the signature line.

  4. In the dialog window that opens, select the Reason for voiding the document.
  5. Enter any additional comments.
  6. Click Void to send the client a notification that the document is voided.
