Common Folders

The Common Folders page in options allows you to configure where settings are stored for features in TaxCycle:

1. From the Start screen, click Options in the blue bar on the left side. If you have a file open, go to the File menu, then click Options. 
2. On the left, expand Files and folders, then click on Common Folders.
3. Scroll down to see the list of folders you can define, including folders for:
   • Invoice Number. See the Price and invoice options help topic.
   • Data published from SlipSync. See the SlipSync help topic.
   • Files for GIFI import. See the Import GIFI from a File help topic.
   • Attachments sent when transmitting a return (such as CO-17). See the T2 Attach-a-Doc help topic.
   • Data monitors and favourites. See the Data Monitors help topic, and the Favourites Bar help topic.
4. Click View user window settings to open the file where window position and layout is saved.
