How do I disconnect TaxCycle from Xero?

The connections to Xero are separate, based on whether the you are importing GIFI information or exporting invoices to Xero. This is because importing GIFI amounts brings in data from your clients' Xero organization which requires different permissions than exporting invoices to your firm's Xero account.

You can terminate both connections from TaxCycle options:

  1. Go to the File menu, then Options. Or, if you are on the Start screen, click Options in the blue bar on the left.
  2. To disconnect from Xero for GIFI import, expand Service Providers and click on the Xero page, then click the Disconnect button.

  3. To manage the connection for invoicing, expand Return Preparation and click on Invoicing, then click the Disconnect button.
