Encrypting folders and files is a way to protect them from unwanted access. Rather than password-protecting individual files, we suggest encrypting a folder that contains all the files you want to protect.
Benefits of encrypting a folder:
- an encrypted folder does not appear in the Client Manager so others don't have access to it
- you don't have to worry about losing the password(s) to individual files
- this method offers safer and better recovery options
