Even if your license does not include the Template Editor, you can add a logo and signature to TaxCycle's default letters.
If you're using the built-in templates that come with TaxCycle, the following guidelines will help you to create a great look with your logo and signature:
To check that the signature and logo are working, open a T1 tax return, press F4 and type CLetter to open the built-in client letter. The logo appears at the top right of the letter and the signature at the bottom.
If you're copying your templates to other computers, make sure to copy the logo and signature files on each computer.
Alternately, you can point each local computer to a networked folder to make the same images files accessible to others. Then, use Options Profiles to share the settings that point to those files. In this case, to enter an personal signature (rather than use the firm’s), go to the Preparer screen in options. Point to your signature file from there to use it instead of the one set under Correspondence.
The built-in letterhead and closing templates refer to the signature and logo image files set in options. This means the full image file does not get inserted into the template, but rather links to the images.

If you resize either of these images, the Template Editor will no longer be the link to the image file; it will instead embed the image in the file.
