Forms module

TaxCycle Forms module helps you prepare a variety of government forms for your clients. Use these forms for a individuals, corporations, trusts, charities or partnerships. For a list of the forms included in this module, see the TaxCycle Forms product page.

Start a blank Forms file and set the type of taxpayer

  1. On the Start Screen, click on the Forms icon.
  2. Click on New Form to start a new file.
  3. The Info worksheet provides fields for all the taxpayer types and jurisdictions/residencies. Select the Type of Taxpayer and Jurisdiction/Residency to show only the sections you need. For example, select T2 Corporation as the Taxpayer Type and Québec as the jurisdiction to display the NEQ field. Choose British Columbia instead and the British Columbia Logging Income Tax section shows.
  4. If you carry forward a prior-year Forms file, the Taxpayer Type is already selected.

Create a Forms file from another return

  1. Open an existing TaxCycle file from a different module.
  2. Go to the Data menu.
  3. Click the button to Create 2015 Forms (or whatever year you are in).
  4. TaxCycle transfers the taxpayer information to the new file, including the Type of Taxpayer, Jurisdiction, contact, account, business and rental information.
